Once Upon a Family
Explore the spaces where the du Pont family played, worked, and entertained. This fun, interactive tour is designed especially for families with children ages 4 to 11.
Tweens and their moms explore objects related to a different theme on the second Sunday of every month at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Discover the heights of early America craftsmanship in stylish furnishings dating from three centuries. This one-hour tour also includes Memorial Library, which is rich in du Pont family memorabilia.
Stroll through a cobblestone courtyard and see Shop Lane’s historic storefronts from the early 1800s. On this one-hour tour explore collections and styles from Shaker to Pennsylvania German, rural to urban.
Winterthur Then and Now
This two-hour tour features the magnificent garden as well as several floors of the house. It focuses on the life of the du Pont family in the first half of the 20th century, the development of the collection of American decorative arts, and the evolution of a private estate into a public treasure. Adults and children ages 8 and above.
